The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the supply chain in order to enhance productivity. In this East Coast based job, the Supplier Quality Engineer will provide training for suppliers on product inspection and approval of supplied products. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers are prepared to meet quality and performance metrics. Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer will conduct investigations of suppliers to identify problem causes and provide corrective action. This job will also involve supporting the execution of zero defect plans at supplier sites. The successful Supplier Quality Engineer, located in the East Coast area, will be responsible for the maintenance of a high-quality supply chain and drive improvement when needed.

  • This job will drive continuous improvement within the supply chain.
  • The Supplier Quality Engineer will support the use of continuous improvement tools, such as zero defect, at supplier sites.

  • This role requires a bachelor’s degree. STEM degrees are strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience (two years +) in a manufacturing environment is expected. Experience within the aerospace industry is ideal.
  • Qualified Auditor certification (ASQ or AS9100) is required.
  • This job also requires the ability to travel (primarily East Coast). International travel will be necessary.
