We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Center of Excellence (VP CoE) to provide strategic leadership, drive operational excellence, and establish best practices across the organization. This executive role is responsible for developing standardized processes, leading cross-functional initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to support long-term business growth and organizational success.
Position Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization’s Center of Excellence strategy.
- Align operational initiatives with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Provide executive leadership across multiple functions and business units.
Operational Excellence
- Establish standardized processes, policies, and best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Monitor organizational performance using key metrics and implement improvement strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with executive leadership and department heads to drive strategic initiatives.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Support organizational transformation and change management efforts.
Performance Management
- Develop performance metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Identify operational opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.
- Ensure accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional development.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders across the organization.
Prerequisites
- Proven executive leadership experience overseeing operational excellence, business transformation, or a Center of Excellence.
- Strong strategic planning, organizational development, and change management experience.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience using data to drive business decisions.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA or other advanced business degree preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
