Louisville Supply Chain Coordinator Overview:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be playing a key role in the planning of new projects as well as the accountability and responsibility for executing all logistics tasks from start to finish. This role requires that the Supply Chain Coordinator is driving the logistics tasks with customers, suppliers and other departments of the manufacturer to successful closure. Insurance that the production team can seamlessly take over all responsibilities after launch is completed is pivotal to the success of this job. Job candidates must be able to balance cost control within the budgeted limits, including quoting the logistics cost of new projects and any changes to the projects during process.
Louisville Supply Chain Coordinator Job Opening
- The Supply Chain Coordinator will direct communication between the production team, engineering team, and the logistics team.
- This job will act as liaison between suppliers and the manufacturer to ensure information, documentation, and product flow meet objectives.
- Assist the Floor Planning Committee in establishment of new production and logistics equipment.
- The Supply Chain Coordinator will communicate with Suppliers and Customers.
- Provide On-sight support for project management, supply chain management, operations, logistics, and purchasing.
- Oversee supply chain management, inventory management, distribution, warehousing, logistics and customer service for new programs until successful launch.
Supply Chain Coordinator (Louisville Area) Job Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 2 plus years logistics/project management experience required.
- Must be able to analyze, develop, and oversee implementation of space allocation, storage requirements, material flow, line-side storage, replenishment, and outbound logistics for new programs.
- Must be highly focused, reliable, and above all a team player with great dedication and strong personal initiative.
- Job candidates must have computer literacy and strong interpersonal communication skills.
