  • Participate in troubleshooting problems in web-based applications.
  • Stay in the rotation for help desk phone inquiries.
  • The Detroit Web Developer Database Administrator will keep record of tickets received and answer requests.
  • Take part in the 24 hour on call rotation to assist with plant support.
Web Developer Database Administrator (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
  • Associate degree in computer science or a related field, or alternatively at least four years of information technology experience with two years of experience directly related to a Web Developer Database Administrator role.
  • Experience with as many of selected program languages as possible, such as, C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft Visual basic, Microsoft .NET, HTML5, and Javascript.
  • SQL Maintenance and administration experience.
  • Familiarity creating reports with SQL as well as the Chart FX tool.
  • Mobile application development would be a strong plus for this job.
  • A positive mindset as well as a devotion to customer and user satisfaction.
  • Comfortable and clear communication with advanced as well as novice users.
  • Able to explain IT concepts and terms to internal customers in a clear manner.
  • Able to understand business issues and suggest good technological solutions for them.

Detroit Manufacturing Engineer Overview: 

The Detroit Manufacturing Engineer will perform analysis on manufacturing processes in order to identify improvements to save on costs and improve the quality of products. The manufacturing Engineer shall also develop manufacturing process for new products. The Manufacturing engineer will partner with product engineers to ensure that manufacturing process will meet the technical requirements. This Detroit, Michigan job shall report directly to the engineering manager.

Detroit Manufacturing Engineer Job Opening

  • Perform time studies and method studies to set time standards for manufacturing processes.
  • The Detroit Manufacturing Engineer will provide industrial engineering advisement on manufacturing operations.
  • Lead in all kaizen and lean manufacturing initiative within the Detroit facility.
  • Design play layouts, instructions for processes, flow lay out, and machine set up procedures.
  • Ensure that all processes are designed in line with all safety, productivity, and quality standards and regulations.
  • The Detroit Manufacturing Engineer will perform line balancing studies within the facility.
  • Study the ergonomics of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Organize and perform all failure mode effects analyses within the facility.
  • Gather metrics on manufacturing processes and make suggestions for process improvements.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of cutting edge and innovative manufacturing processes through continuous improvement and education. Attend trade shows and conferences to maintain expertise in the industry.
  • Perform other appropriate duties as directed by the Engineering manager.
Manufacturing Engineer (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least three years of job experience as a manufacturing engineer for an automotive company.
  • Proficient with CAD software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate comfortably and effectively with colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Great time Management skills. Able to prioritize multiple duties to complete projects on time.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to deliver presentations.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office quite of programs (word, excel, powerpoint, and outlook) as well as the Windows operating system.
