• The Electronic Design Engineer must create designs of hardware and circuits in order to match up with customers’ technical  specifications and requirements for various job orders.
• Design circuits on plastic circuit boards in order to meet EMC requirements at the greater Detroit, Michigan plant.
• Design circuits on circuit simulation software and evaluate the circuits.
• The Electronic Design Engineer must perform analysis on current circuit designs in order to find areas of improvement at the Detroit, Michigan site for this job.
• The Electronic Design Engineer will analyze defective products and design the PCB in order to rectify any job issues.
• Create a set of hardware/software interface requirements in Detroit, Michigan.
• Organize and lead meeting to review design with other staff members, foster a healthy environment of collaboration.
• Understand customer needs and specifications then develop technical and price proposals. Create and deliver technical presentations of new designs and new products to customers.
• Utilize transducers, sensors, data acquisition tools, and other lab equipment in testing and validating equipment.

Electronic Design Engineer (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:

• A minimum of five to seven years of job experience working on electronic circuit design, automotive electronic circuit design would is highly preferable for this Detroit, Michigan job.
• A Bachelor’s of science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and/or the ability to pass the company’s Circuit Design Test. A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering would be preferred for the job.
• Able to work in a department with others on different jobs.
• Exceptional knowledge of electrical and electromechanical materials and components.
• Good computer skills, familiarity with the Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, excel, powerpoint, etc.)
• A collaborative attitude to assist in reviewing designs and mentoring colleagues.
