The Detroit Controls Project Engineer will creates and improve control systems for manufacturing equipment. The Detroit Controls Project engineer will also perform maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary. This job will involve installation of new equipment and integrating it into a manufacturing process. This role will require a strong understanding of electrical controls and the related software.
Detroit Controls Project Engineer Job Opening:
- The Detroit Controls Project Engineer will develop programming and code to prepare equipment for integration into a manufacturing system.
- Provide advisement in the selection of new equipment.
- Create wiring schematics for projects.
- The Detroit Controls Project Engineer will develop programs for equipment in order for them to perform correct actions in the manufacturing process.
- Create Bills of Materials for installation projects.
- Perform all plc and robot programming necessary.
- The Detroit Controls Project Engineer will partner with client companies to ensure satisfaction during the installation process.

Controls Project Engineer (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in a similar position.
- At least five years of experience with PLC programming as well as Fanuc Robotic programming.
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, able to solve complex problems.
- Strong organization skills.
- Able to travel as necessary for the position.
