Minneapolis Supply Chain Manager Overview:
The Minneapolis Supply Chain Manager will report to the Operations Director. The main responsibility for the Supply Chain Manager shall be to reorganize the supply chain for the division. The Supply Chain Manager will reorganize the supply chain in order to create revenue growth. Main areas of focus for the Supply Chain Manager will be inventory planning, demand planning, warehousing, and logistics.
Minneapolis Supply Chain Manager Job Opening
- The Minneapolis Supply Chain Manager will design the supply chain organization for an assigned division in order to better meet market demands.
- Oversee the budgets, expenses, and assets of the regional supply chain.
- Structure the demand fulfillment and operations planning processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- The Minneapolis Supply Chain Manager will work to attain and ensure accurate inventory counts and set inventory levels in order to meet needs.
- Analyze the warehousing and transportation processes to find areas where distribution could be streamlined and improved in general.
- Handle customer service relationships with external and internal customers.
- Coordinate with IT personnel to better gather data for analysis to improve the operational functions of the supply chain.
- Establish key performance indicators to identify inefficiencies in supply chain operations.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Supply Chain Manager (Minneapolis Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in engineering or operations from an accredited institution.
- Possession of an MBA would be preferable for this job.
- Strong understanding of supply chain for a manufacturing company.
- Proven history of successful process implementation projects for large companies.
- At least ten to fifteen years of related professional experience.
- Exceptional level of ERP systems knowledge, especially in the areas of manufacturing operations, scheduling, and materials management.
- Exceptional project management experience with a history of successful leadership.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization.
- Able to manage several projects and priorities with concurrent deadlines.
- Exceptional ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
