Houston Material Planning Manager Overview:
The Material Planning Manager is responsible for meeting service, cash, and cost objectives while working logistics out of the greater Houston, Texas location. Additionally, he or she will be leading customer order fulfillment at the Houston site. The Material Planning Manager must lead and mentor a team and will have full management responsibilities over them. This particular role will be based out of greater Houston, but will have inventory and order fulfillment responsibilities for 5 sites and a budget that is several million dollars.

- For this job, the Material Planning Manager will deliver on monthly inventory and fulfillment metrics for multiple fulfillment sites.
- For this job, the Material Planning Manager will meet S&OP metrics.
- Additionally, the Material Planning Manager will conduct reviews on a quarterly and monthly basis for the raw material planners and analysts while on-site.
- The Material Planning Manager will serve as a voice of the customer while going through day-to-day operations to help improve customer relations.
- This role will involve training the material planners and analysts.
Material Planning Manager (Houston Area) Job Requirements:
- A 4-year degree in a business-related or supply chain field is strongly required for this job.
- At least 7 years of logistics management experience is required for this job.
- Strong leadership and training ability.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus for this job.
