Dallas Technical Writer Overview:

The Dallas, Texas Technical Writer will be mainly responsible for creating various types of documentations including: manuals, training guidelines, handouts, instructions, etc. This job will have a job candidate publishing these documents as well as eLearning courses and other computer related training.

Dallas Technical Writer Job Opening

  • Must be able to explain technical ideas and concepts to different groups of people based off their skill level.
  • The Technical Writer will meet with members of different departments and subject matter experts to gather information for the base of publications.
  • The Technical Writer will establish a systematic review process for the development of new and previous training publications.
  • The Technical Writer will create simple to follow user documentations for a variety of publication type related to training.
  • Must organize publications to have photos, graphs, charts, etc. as a tool to help with teaching training.
    • A plus will be creating animations or videos to help enhance publications and presentations.
  • Must maintain publications that have been released to see different ways they are offered to purchase, control of different versions, regularly updating them, etc.
  • The Technical Writer will assist other personnel by proofreading various training documents and activities when needed.
  • The Technical Writer will visit different vendors/dealers outside of Dallas, Texas as needed to gather information or train people as required.
Technical Writer (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:
  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 5 or more years of experience relating to this type of work.
  • Experience with manufacturing and/or after sales support is a big plus to this line of work.
  • Must have top of the line verbal and written communication skills to deal all publications out as effectively as possible.
  • Ability to be a leader in meetings to get information and somewhere down the road manages projects.
  • Must have maximum proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. as well as other publication software’s.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and the added ability to organize all of them.
  • Written or spoken knowledge of Spanish and/or Canadian French is a plus.
  • Travel around 15% of the time may be required outside of Dallas, Texas.

Columbus Business Systems Trainer Job Opening

  • The Business Systems Trainer will mainly being responsible for orienting and training company dealer and personnel on how to communicate and establish business with corporate.
  • This role will help continuously train, update and maintain contacts within the dealership network on new business application systems that the company puts out.
  • The position will also be providing feedback to Columbus, Ohio dealers on what aspects they need training on.
  • The Business Systems Trainer will also need to assist with User Acceptance Training (UAT) and the development of pilot programs in order to ease transitions and usage in business system software.
  • The Columbus, Ohio job will also require the continuous updating and improvement of the system training manual in order to reduce the use of paper and ultimately go paperless when in comes to the dissemination of training documents.

The Detroit Human Resources Manager will assist in hiring and onboarding new employees, posting job vacancies, and informing staff of company policy and practices. The HR manager will lead in policy initiatives, mediate employee disputes, and assist in determining disciplinary actions as well as performing terminations. The Human Resources Manager will be conducting his/her job out of the Detroit location.

Detroit Human Resources Manager Job Opening

  • Assist the talent development efforts of the company at large through training, coaching, and maintaining records.
  • Oversee talent acquisitions in Detroit through recruitment, talent evaluation, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Provide advice to hiring managers. Conduct and record exit interviews. Suggest changes to the talent acquisition processes.
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of new employees. Set up payroll and guide employees through all appropriate processes.
  • Train managers in proper monitoring and appraisal practices for employee evaluations, coaching, and discipline practices.
  • Schedule regular meetings with managers to meet with associates while working in Detroit.
  • Maintain an open door to receive personnel feedback on company policies.
  • Give managers advice on human resources functions, ensure that company policies are followed in all HR situations.
  • Serve as an example of the corporate vision, values, and goals.
  • Monitor the HR staff including the Generalist and benefits coordinator.
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal employment law to ensure the company is in line with all regulations and policies.
  • Ensure the company functions well despite understaffing.
  • Implement disciplinary measures and perform terminations as necessary.
  • Make recommendations to company executives about policy changes.
  • The Human Resources Manager must maintain all company records and ensure confidentiality.
Human Resources Manager (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
  • An exceptional understanding of employment and labor law is needed for this job.
  • A understanding of the importance of confidentiality and a devotion to this principle.
  • The Human Resources Manager will need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with variety of people in a wide variety of situations for this job. Able to handle adverse circumstances that occur on the job.
  • Comfortable communicating with personnel from the c-suite to the shop floor while on the job.
  • The Human Resources Manager must be confident in making mature judgments and decisions.
  • For the job, he or she must be able to reach goals and drive results with personnel who are not direct reports.
  • An attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrated history of successful planning to reach goals.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft office.
  • Experience working in a HR role for in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • A proven history of completing projects and reaching goals on time.
