Responsibilities:

  • Manage the territory, with calls and client visits as required
  • Accomplish/surpass sales objectives
  • Consult on customer specifications using strong problem solving abilities
  • Client calls should be purposeful with clear goals and objectives
  • Examine accounts for sales potential
  • Follow up on sales calls and completed tasks in a timely manner                 

Supplemental Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting of various territories
  • Provide facts from the field on customer specification
  • Managing the territory with various contracts
  • 50% travel
  • Hunting new business and building on a territory

Preferred Proficiencies:

  • Minimum three to four years sales experience (both inside and outside)
  • Knowledge of Visual Software and ISO 9001 is a plus
  • Minimum of a 2 year degree is required, 4 year degree is a plus with previous sales experience
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a big plus
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Travel experience conducting outside sales is essential
  • Gumption and initiative are also essential to this position
  • Sales contacts in the auto tier 1 industry are also a big plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Candidates will occasionally be sitting at a desk and inputing data into a computer as it pertains to various job orders
  • Candidates may also need to reach to use the fax machine, phone, or printer
  • Candidates will also be occasionally filing copies of reports or billings as it pertains to their job orders
  • Walking through plants/manufacturing facilities will occasionally be expected as it pertains to certain job requirements
