Reno Plant Manager Overview:
The Reno Plant manager will be responsible in driving sustainability and consistently improving operational results within the facility. For this job the plant manager will oversee the high speed, high volume manufacturing facility in the Reno area. The Plant manager will plan and implement manufacturing strategies to meet goals concerning production, quality, and safety. The Plant Manager will also focus on improving technology, cost effectiveness, and plant morale.
Reno Plant Manager Job Opening
- The Reno Plant Manager will oversee and administer safety programs for the plant.
- Create systems to improve product quality, ensure the standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Ensure that production operations function in order to meet demand requirements.
- The Reno Plan Manager will work to ensure that machine design parameters are exceeded.
- Identify and lead production and technology improvement opportunities.
- Lead in the planning process to meet yield goals for the site while also meeting cost objectives established by the corporate office.
- The Reno Plant Manager will be responsible for fostering a positive environment that nurtures teamwork and the accomplishments of personnel.
- Supervise the activities of direct reports to drive improvements and meet or exceed goals set by the corporate office.
- Develop annual operating budgets to meet or exceed financial goals for the facility.
Plant Manager (Reno Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- Masters of Business Administration or a related field would be preferable.
- At least ten years of management experience in a high volume manufacturing facility.
- A proven history of utilizing leadership to motivate and drive results.
- A familiarity with overseeing manufacturing costs as well as financial controls.
- A familiarity with pushing results across many categories without harming a particular category.
- Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing training and certification would be preferred.
- A strong level of skill with word processing and spreadsheet software.
