Trenton Director of Manufacturing Overview:
The Director of Manufacturing is primarily responsible for the directing of line management and support activities. Additionally, he or she will oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, and engineering departments in order to optimize the performance of all facilities. Keeping sales and client relationships in mind, the Director of Manufacturing will plan out staffing and hiring operations at the metro Trenton, New Jersey site. The Director of Manufacturing will have a great deal of responsibility in sustaining optimal production, so he or she will need to also be the champion of continuous improvement initiatives on-site that make processes safer, faster, less expensive, and of a higher quality.
Trenton Director of Manufacturing Job Opening
- The Director of Manufacturing will analyze sales forecasts and job orders in order to to maintain production and reduce shutdowns and delays.
- This role will need to serve as a mentor for department heads at the greater Trenton site.
- The position will need to sustain TQM at the site.
- There is a minimal amount of travel outside of the greater Trenton, New Jersey area required for this job.
- The Director of Manufacturing will also maintain parts and equipment inventories at the site.
Director of Manufacturing (Trenton Area) Job Requirements:
- A 4-year degree in an engineering field is required for this job.
- At least 7 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience in molding is a plus for this job.
