The Vice President of Sales serves as a major figure in the executive team. The VP of Sales shall develop sales strategy and objectives yearly and quarterly with the assistance of other members of the executive team while working out of Port Huron.

- Assist the President and CFO in developing annual budgets, sales targets, and strategic objectives at the Port Huron, Michigan location.
- Identify potential clients and key-targets to expand the customer base while working out of Port Huron, Michigan.
- The Vice President of Sales must meet with key customer to bolster strong relationships and foster more business.
- Drive activity within inside and outside sales personnel through direct and in direct supervision and mentoring.
- Create and foster an environment of healthy competition in order to drive sales goals.
- The Vice President of Sales will develop sales activity reports and present the executive team with regular sales updates.
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for sales staff and act to ensure that those goals are met.
- The Vice President of Sales must develop and deliver sales presentations with key clients.
- Perform client visits and host clients when they visit company facilities.
- The Vice President of Sales will commission research on potential clients.
- Organize and lead sales seminars and training sessions.
- The Vice President of Sales must maintain an exceptional familiarity with the machine tools industry and keep familiar with all trends and industry news.
- Serve as a customer advocate and relay information received from customers to the engineering department whenever necessary.
Vice President of Sales (Port Huron Area) Job Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Master’s degree in a business discipline is highly preferable for this job.
