Detroit Demand Planning Manager Job Opening
- The Detroit Demand Planning Manager will analyze sales trends to identify demand spikes and their relation to promotions, seasons, and other explanations.
- Develop forecasts for the amount of product needed for upcoming months, purchasing only as much new merchandise as is necessary.
- Lead meetings for demand planning team personnel, discuss forecasts, establish goals and objectives for the team.
- The Detroit Demand Planning Manager partners with the executive team to provide input on opportunities for improvement.
- Manage purchasing team.

Demand Planning Manager (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in the field of supply chain or a related area from an accredited university.
- At least five years of inventory planning, purchasing, forecasting, or a closely related area.
- At least three years of a management or leadership role.
- Proven project management skills.
- Familiar with common supply chain metrics to measure performance and efficiency.
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Able to create pivot tables, hlookups, vlookups, etc.
- Familiar with database administration.
- Able to work forty-plus hours.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage several project at once.
