  • Organizes and executes the quality assurance process including but not limited to, analysis, inspection, design, testing, and integration.
  • The Quality Engineer will develop and keep control plans, updating them and refining them as necessary.
  • The Quality Engineer will perform the root cause analysis and 8D problem solving process in order to reach proper solutions.
  • Review and analyze design documentation to ensure it meets quality requirements at Detroit, Michigan.
  • Utilize statistical process control in order to understand data and know what parts of the process need to be modified.

  • Keep an up to date knowledge of government and industry quality standards.
Quality Engineer (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten years of quality assurance experience.
  • Previous automotive industry experience.
  • An above average level of math skills. Understanding of statistics, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
  • Quality Engineer certification.
  • Past experience with TS16949 quality standards.

Detroit Process Technician Overview:

The Detroit Process Technician will oversee the molding process in order to make sure it runs effectively. The Process Technician will assist their team in the production in this Detroit, Michigan manufacturing facility. The Process Technician will drive improvements in the molding processes in the Michigan location. This job will require the Detroit Process Technician to maintain the production equipment in the Michigan facility to make sure the production floor remains a safe and positive working experience. The Process Technician will be responsible for any additional duties as they are assigned. This job does not require travel outside of Detroit, Michigan area.
