- Consider the most efficient approaches between instructor led delivery, (CBT) computer based training, (WBT) and web-based training, video training, and implement the best system.
- The Service Training Manager will always keep dealers updated on repair references as well as product releases via publications.
- Ensure successful product training annually by obtaining information from engineering and factories.
- The Service Training Manager will conduct his or her own research on systems and components; prepare information for presentations in the most appropriate format.
- Develop and train instructor guidelines, providing material and props needed for demonstrations.
- The Service Training Manager will conduct a regular needs analysis to determine the training content that must be focused on with priority.
- Develop basic training courses in many different areas that allow personnel to have a basic understanding of the knowledge.
- The Service Training Manager will develop strategic dealer technician career paths with corresponding training structure.

Service Training Manager (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years job experience working as a technician.
- At least 3 years job experience working as a technical instructor within the industry.
- At least 2 years job experience working as a technical curriculum developer.
- Job experience working with software for electronic publication.
- Understanding of the job function as well as the methods of learning for service technicians.
- Strong hands-on technical background and knowledge.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written.
- Ability to focus on multiple projects at once and meet the deadlines given for all different projects.
- At least some job experience designing and publicizing technical information in electronic and paper format.
