  • The Boston Operations Manager will oversee the operational budget, analyzing key factors and instituting changes to stay within budget.
  • Directly supervise fifteen to twenty staff members.
  • Notice requirements for staffing and take part in the selection of new staff members.
Operations Manager (Boston Area) Job Requirements:
  • A four year degree in a field of supply chain, business, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least six to eight years of experience in an operational role for a company that regularly deals with expensive and fragile material.
  • At least three to five years of experience in a management or supervisory position with direct and indirect reports.
  • A proven history of strong collaboration with customers and management to provide the highest level of service while also managing the operational goals and business needs of the organization.
  • At least three to four years of experience overseeing a profit center.
  • Strong Communication skills, able to positively influence others.
  • Excellent service provider skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to perform work according to schedules and concurrent timelines in a high paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to meet responsibilities with little direction.
  • Strong leadership skills, a proven ability to train and develop a staff.
  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft office suite of products, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
