• Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
• Provide technical guidance and support during equipment upgrades and process changes
• Assist technicians and operators with automation troubleshooting and system performance

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure automation systems comply with applicable safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain awareness of EH&S requirements and support safe work practices
• Provide emergency support during critical equipment downtime situations when needed

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or related technical field
• Experience with PLC programming platforms such as Studio 5000, Rockwell, or similar systems
• Strong troubleshooting experience involving automation, controls, and manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication systems
• Experience managing engineering or automation-related projects
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or manufacturing data integration systems preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in both office and production floor environments

Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)

• Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
• PMP or other project management certification
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Robotics or industrial controls certifications
