- Support fabrication teams by creating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Evaluate and track operational performance based on key performance indicators
- Monitor KPIs including efficiency, scrap, and waste
- Conduct root cause analysis and prepare reports for critical issues that hinder performance
- Communicate with multiple departments to determine requirements of projects
- Maintain compliance with company protocol and continuous improvement methodologies
- Improve the department by researching and implementing best practices
- Optimize cost savings while retaining quality control
- Enhance operations by streamlining procedures and minimizing rework
- Train employees as needed in project specifications
- Provide cross-functional support to other teams
Process Engineer (Sacramento Area) Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Engineering, Quality, and/or Operations Management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Adept at developing business relationships
- Enforcing discipline related to processes
- Knowledge and/or training in Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma
