Detroit Warehouse Specialist Overview:

The Warehouse Specialist, to be located in the greater Detroit, Michigan area, will be a supporting member of two business units. This individual will develop and manage the logistics functions of the warehouse to ensure that all parts are ordered and delivered in a timely and accurate manner. The Detroit based Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the overall inventory and storage of parts. This job will also ensure that necessary parts are ordered and delivered in time for production needs. The Warehouse Specialist, in the Metro Detroit area, will oversee general building maintenance and repair. Ultimately, the Detroit area Warehouse Specialist will manage inventory using the ERP system while maintaining a safe and effective work environment.

Detroit Warehouse Specialist Job Opening:

  • The Warehouse Specialist will coordinate all shipments with suppliers, freight carriers, and customers.
  • This job requires working closely with shop managers and project managers to ensure that all necessary material is ordered and in inventory.
  • This individual will also track facilities service requests to maintain effective building conditions for production.
  • The Warehouse Specialist develops and implements training programs to promote a culture of safety and reduce workplace accidents.
