- The Philadelphia Pennsylvania Senior Product Manager will oversee products from womb to tomb, and will work closely with sales and directly with customers to ensure that they meet expectations.
- Ensure the product development occurs according to the schedule and that deadlines are met.
- Manage product development and ensure that the budget is not exceeded.
- The Philadelphia Pennsylvania Senior Product Manager will work closely with production as the prototype is developed and the product moves into full production for launch.
- Ensure that the product meets all quality standards of both the company and the customer.
Senior Product Manager (Philadelphia Area) Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering in engineering is required for this job.
- At least five to seven years of related experience.
- At least four years of experience designing automotive components.
- Strong level of familiarity with powertrain products.
- Great organizational skills, able to meet deadlines and checkpoints.
- Lean/Six Sigma training would be preferable for this position.
- Detail oriented, familiar with quality manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of metal and plastics manufacturing.
