Boston Compliance Coordinator Overview:
The Boston Compliance coordinator will work to institute and maintain policies and practices within the facility to ensure annual certification. The Boston Compliance Coordinator is responsible for training select staff members in quality standards. The Boston Compliance Coordinator will also be tasked with creating weekly and daily production schedules. The Boston Compliance Coordinator will be required to keep current knowledge of all local, state, and federal regulations that affect standards.
Boston Compliance Coordinator Job Opening
- The Boston Compliance Coordinator will handle every aspect of the company’s SQF certification including verifications and validations.
- Create quality control policies, including a sampling process that conforms to customer and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all quality reports and applications are filed properly with the appropriate offices or agencies.
- The Boston Compliance Coordinator will ensure that all appropriate staff is aware of and trained in all quality control policies of concern.
- Develop and lead training sessions on proper methods to perform and monitor quality tests.
- Take note of risks within the facility, particularly quality and safety related risks.
- The Boston Compliance Coordinator is responsible for performing the FDA risk analysis annually.
- Utilize quality data to identify areas that need require improvement.
- When legislative changes affect the facility’s policies, develop plans to make appropriate changed in order to maintain compliance.
Compliance Coordinator (Boston Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in engineering, business, or a related area from an accredited university.
- At least five years of experience in food manufacturing quality control.
- SQF Level three certification would be strongly preferred, ability to attain required.
- Familiar with relevant federal and state regulations to food manufacturing.
- Possession of PCQI and OSHA certifications.
- Proven knowledge of state and federal human resource regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage many priorities and objectives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated history of successful continuous improvement projects.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, able to document and describe events and details clearly and concisely.
