The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the supply chain in order to enhance productivity. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers meet the necessary capability requirements. In this East Coast based job, the Supplier Quality Engineer will provide training for suppliers on product inspection and approval of supplied products. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all suppliers are prepared to meet quality and performance metrics. This job will also involve supporting the execution of zero defect plans at supplier sites.   • This job will drive continuous improvement within the supply chain.
  • The Supplier Quality Engineer will support the use of continuous improvement tools, such as zero defect, at supplier sites.
  • This role conducts investigations and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with performance and quality metrics.

  • This role requires a bachelor’s degree. STEM degrees are strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience (two years +) in a manufacturing environment is expected. Experience within the aerospace industry is ideal.
  • Qualified Auditor certification (ASQ or AS9100) is required.
  • This job also requires the ability to travel (primarily East Coast). International travel will be necessary.
