Nashville Quality Manager Overview:
The Nashville Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the manufactured products within their area meet quality standards. The Nashville Quality Manager will take part in manufacturing trials to ensure that the production line is operating correctly. This person will also be a key leader in leading quality investigations when errors do occur. The Nashville Quality Manager will direct the activities of quality associates and ensure that all staff is properly trained.
Nashville Quality Manager Job Opening:
- The Nashville Quality Manager will monitor production within an assigned area to ensure that all products are manufactured to quality standards.
- Partner with manufacturing engineers to solve quality issues within the assigned area.
- Evaluate manufactured pieces, perform measurements, record data.
- The Nashville Quality Manager will keep records of all quality investigations.
- Direct quality associates to perform actions with the work area, provide guidance.
- Develop procedures and protocols for quality investigations.
- The Nashville Quality Manager will lead and take part in quality audits.
- Ensure that quality associates are properly trained.
- Take part in and guide continuous improvement events and activities.
Quality Manager (Nashville Area) Job Requirements:
- A four-year degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in a quality role in a manufacturing setting.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a management role.
- A deep understanding of paint lines.
- Familiar with automotive manufacturing environments.
- Exceptional math skills, able to perform complex calculations.
- Lean Six Sigma training would be preferable for this position.
