Detroit Program Manager Overview:

  • Utilize active listening and proactive questions to understand what the customer needs on a very technical level for this job.
  • The Program Manager will provide guidance and direction to program design staff in regard to the customer’s technical specifications as well as the overall goal.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with the customer in greater Detroit.
  • Develop and present sales presentations all over Michigan.
Program Manager (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a technical role for an automotive company.
  • Automotive injection molded plastics is strongly preferential.
  • Experience with quality assurance systems.
  • Exceptional CAD skills.
  • Great computer skills, able to use Microsoft office and its component programs (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Great communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Lean six sigma training or certification is highly preferable.

    • Review and approve the quote before delivering it to the customer.

    • Provide customers with preliminary designs and seek their feedback.
