Columbus Production Supervisor Overview:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the production and process improvement of the Columbus manufacturing plant. This job will focus on the safety and security of the work environment and ensure that all regulatory standards are being upheld. The Production supervisor will lead all problem-solving sessions to establish new processes for production and work environment improvements. This job will initiate, review, master and follow all standard operation procedures and job safety procedures for the manufacturing plant.
Columbus Production Supervisor Job Opening
- The Columbus Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment for the production team.
- This job includes correcting unsafe acts or conditions, facilitating monthly meetings on safety, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents as necessary.
- The Production Supervisor supports the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the food safety program in place at the Columbus area manufacturing plant.
- This job facilitates training and development of subordinate members of the production team to ensure an increasingly high level of production and morale.
Production Supervisor (Columbus Area) Job Requirements:
- This job requires a broad experience acquired through work experience in a manufacturing plant.
- This job requires a bachelors degree from an accredited university in an engineering field of study.
- The Columbus Production Supervisor must have experience working with Lean methodology, 5s, Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), and problem solving.
- Candidates need at least two years of related experience for this job.
