A leading subsystems and other control components manufacturer is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources in the greater Newark, New Jersey area.
Newark, NJ Area VP of Human Resources Job Opening:
- Lead, develop, and oversee the human resources department workflow.
- Perform constructive and efficient performance evaluations.
- Ensure legal compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and training of new employees.
- Handle discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
Vice President of HR (Newark, NJ Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work across all levels of the organization is required.
- Familiarity with best practices, trends and regulatory changes related to human resources, employment law and talent management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
