We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide executive leadership across the organization’s day-to-day operations. This role will be responsible for translating business strategy into operational execution, strengthening organizational performance, and ensuring teams, processes, and resources are aligned with long-term business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and oversee day-to-day business operations across key functions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support organizational growth and profitability.
- Establish performance objectives, operating standards, and accountability measures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
Strategic Planning
- Partner with the executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Translate organizational goals into actionable operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor business performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across the organization.
- Establish clear expectations, promote accountability, and support professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented organizational culture.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Implement systems and processes that improve operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Ensure appropriate controls, policies, and procedures are established and maintained.
Financial & Performance Management
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Use data and business insights to support informed decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with executive leaders and department heads to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Coordinate initiatives across departments and remove operational barriers.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in senior-level operations or executive management.
- Demonstrated success leading complex organizations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial performance, and organizational strategy.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in operations, project management, or organizational leadership are a plus.
