The Philadelphia Supply Chain Director will work to consistently improve the company’s supply chain and customer service metrics.
Meet regularly with direct reports to strategize new ways to better meet customer needs in a more efficient manner.
Work with third party warehouse partners to improve the supply chain network.
The Philadelphia Supply Chain Director will oversee procurement practices in order to cut costs where able.
Develop and improve the policies and procedures of the supply chain department to streamline communication and performance.
Maintain knowledge of new strategies and tactics for e-commerce fulfillment.
The Philadelphia Supply Chain Director will meet with the executive team to develop new supply chain initiatives.
Take part in the selection and hiring of new staff for the supply chain department.
Provide direct reports with yearly evaluations as well as consistent feedback.

Supply Chain Director (Philadelphia Area) Job Requirements:

A four year degree from an accredited institution in the field of supply chain, business, or a related field.
A Masters degree in the field of supply chain or business would be beneficial for this position.
At least 8 years of progressive, related experience.
Experience managing both direct and indirect reports.
Familiar with developing a supply chain for an E-Commerce company.
Six Sigma Black Belt training and certification would be a plus for this job.
A high level of energy and motivation, able to remain positive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
