A leading aerospace component manufacturer is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in the greater Baltimore, Maryland area.

Baltimore Senior Contracts Manager Job Opening

Be a subject matter expert in US Government, commercial, and international contracts in the aerospace and defense industry.
Lead the pre and post contract award processes to continue along terms and conditions and customer requirements.
Assist with continuous improvement processes of policies and procedures as they relate to the Contracts and Compliance functions.
Analyze and conduct risk assessments and risk mitigation on terms and conditions, draft agreements, and negotiations.
Provide analysis and recommendations to executives regarding complex contractual issues and help resolve contractual disputes and claims.

Senior Contracts Manager (Baltimore Area) Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline required.
At least 5 years of experience in government, commercial, and international contract negotiation, and management.
Understanding of relevant regulations including FAR, DFAR, and ITAR.
Prior experience applying lean and continuous improvement concepts.
Understanding of internal audit processes and third-party legal counsel.
