Tacoma Quality Engineer Overview:
The Quality Engineer will be in charge of communicating with suppliers, customers, and production workers in order to ensure quality standards are being maintained. He or she will utilize statistical analyzation to test quality assurance thresholds and capabilities. This job in the greater Tacoma, Washington area is responsible for ISO 9001 system maintenance and any other jobs ordered by the Quality Director.
Tacoma Quality Engineer Job Opening:
- The greater Tacoma, Washington area Quality Engineer is responsible for the formation and maintenance of quality assurance processes and will collaborate with customers, suppliers, and production staff in order to ensure the most efficient systems are implemented.
- The Quality Engineer in the Tacoma, Washington area will report to the Quality Director and carry out any supplementary duties as required.
- He or she will lead internal auditing and help facilitate any second party auditing as well as be responsible for ISO 9001 systems.
Quality Engineer (Tacoma area) Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in the field of manufacturing is required.
- Strong experience working with an ISO 9001 Quality Management System is a requirement.
- Six Sigma training and APQP training is strongly preferred but not required.
- A four-year degree from an institution of higher learning in the field of engineering or in a related field is highly preferred.
