Dallas Plant Manager Overview:
The Dallas Plant Manager is responsible for day to day operations of the facility. The Plant Manager will work with supervisors to ensure all duties are completed in order to fulfill customer orders on time. The Plant Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that maintenance is performed regularly to keep the facility functioning safely. The Plant Manager will schedule regular meetings with supervisory staff to communicate priorities and goals.
Dallas Plant Manager Job Opening
- The Dallas Plant Manager will schedule and lead regular meetings with direct reports to communicate ideas about the plant and ongoing activities.
- Ensure that each area of the plant is on pace to meet all customer deadlines.
- Develop policies and procedures to minimize all safety related accidents to minimize downtime.
- The Dallas Plant Manager will ensure that maintenance schedules are audited.
- Work with manufacturing engineers to improve the efficiency of the plant’s manufacturing process.
- Plan and lead strategic initiatives to improve different areas of the plant.
- The Dallas Plant Manager shall monitor metrics and will initiate strategies for under performing areas.
- Provide feedback and coaching to personnel violate policies or procedures.
- Provide disciplinary actions as necessary, as well as termination of employment.
- The Dallas Plant Manager will take part in the hiring and selection of select staff members.
Plant Manager (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited institution in the field of business, engineering, or a related area.
- At least eight years of related manufacturing experience.
- At least four years of management experience.
- A high level of familiarity with metals manufacturing processes.
- Lean Six Sigma Training and Certification would be a strongly preferred for this position.
- Strong leadership skills, able to delegate tasks and motivate a large staff.
- High level of energy and positivity.
- Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated history of commitment to plant safety.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Software, particular Outlook, Excel, and Word.
