• Prior to Construction
  • The Owners’ Representative will create a program summary document
  • Prepare a project budget.
  • The Owners’ Representative will create an overall project master schedule.
  • Create a management plan to streamline communications and approvals.
  • The Owners’ Representative will select architects and consultants.
  • Check drawings and specifications at the Grand Rapids office.

Owners’ Representative (Grand Rapids Area) Job Requirements:

• Previous real estate development job experience.
• A past job experience working in construction management or design build.
• Demonstrated skill in created schedules and project timelines.
• Aptness in reconciling progress and projections to meet scheduled goals.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and to evaluate whether the construction matches specifications.
• Exceptional record keeping and organizational skills.
• Able to manage cash flow for various jobs.
• Advanced negotiation tactics to conform with changes in work.
• Exposure to concrete construction, carpentry, finish construction, as well as electrical and plumbing systems.
• Easily works with others and cooperates.
• Champion of safe construction practices, site safety, and organization.
• Previous familiarity with LEED practices.
