San Francisco Mechanical Engineer Overview:
The primary responsibilities of this job will be to be involved in the manufacturing department to help reinvent it. This will mean that the Mechanical Engineer will be in the team that scales the 3D printed prototypes into production. The Mechanical Engineer also has several other responsibilities, such as developing the functional requirements for product based upon the product specifications. This job will also be involved in the sourcing of specific components. The San Francisco Mechanical Engineer will be involved in the product design team.
San Francisco Mechanical Engineer Job Opening
- This job will also require the Mechanical Engineer to detail the analysis of the various materials that could be used in product development.
- In this role the Mechanical Engineer will also help the R&D department by prototyping and fabricating components and systems.
- The Mechanical Engineer will also be developing precision machine or complex electro-mechanical systems.
- The Mechanical Engineer in San Francisco will be creating detailed design in CAD and with drawings.
Mechanical Engineer (Bay Area) Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering 4 year degree is required for this job.
- For this job, previous background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Applicants who can display the ability to be an effective decision maker and display excellent communication skills, will be preferred.
- This person must be able to create CAD assembles.
- A Masters in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Engineering is strongly desired.
