The main job of the Maintenance Manager is to direct the maintenance functions of the organization’s manufacturing plant by determining and leading the budget of the department. In addition, he or she will be responsible for scheduling, improving, and communicating the efficiency of maintenance functions. The Maintenance Manager will work across functions within the department such as engineering, planning, technicians, and mechanical/electrical leads and ensure that they are productive. Frequently, the Maintenance Manager will ensure the safety of the plant and determine whether machinery and equipment is available and working efficiently. For this job, the Maintenance Manager will need to work closely with other department managers and will be in charge of overseeing the activities of employees in the maintenance department.

Reno Maintenance Manager Job Opening

• The main role of the Reno Maintenance Manager will be to monitor and lead the daily maintenance functions of the manufacturing plant as well as determining the departmental budget.
• Additionally, he or she will be tasked with the scheduling, improvement, and communication of the maintenance function’s efficiency.

Maintenance Manager (Reno Area) Job Requirements:

• A four-year degree in an engineering-related field from an accredited university.
• At least three years of experience in maintenance management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical and mechanical technology.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
