Today’s environment coupled with the holiday season that’s upon us makes us want to find ways to help our neighbors, friends and those less fortunate who, without the help of generous people, might go without.
In lieu of sending out traditional holiday wishes of gratitude to you in the form of greeting cards, we opted to increase our annual contributions to Gleaner’s Community Food Bank of Detroit which helps stock local area soup kitchens and shelter’s with food to feed literally thousands of people in our area.
I’ve included the link to Gleaner’s website should you wish to make a personal contribution in addition to ours.
This is a longstanding and reputable organization which I am comfortable recommending as I have personally volunteered at their local warehouse stocking shelves and loading trucks as well as providing donations, time and non-perishable food collection’s on numerous occasions over the years.
To get involved with Gleaner’s by either providing a tax free monetary contribution or to donate time by volunteering at their food collection and distribution site in Detroit visit the following link:

Wishing you and your family a safe and happy holiday season, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
