The Director of Sales will work with executive staff to execute sales strategies and market initiatives. The Director of Sales will follow up on major accounts and visit clients through out the sales region. - Assist the company president and the executive team in developing business strategy.
- The Director of Sales will perform market research to identify potential sales leads.
- Establish relationships with prospective customers.
- The Director of Sales will educate customers in the company’s products and negotiate terms within company guidelines.
- Perform customer visits, provide a positive impression of the company.
- The Director of Sales will build and foster strong professional relationships with personnel at customer companies.
- Submit sales orders and ensure that deliveries are performed according to schedule.
- The Director of Sales will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the customer. Mitigate any problems.
- Perform follow up calls to customers to ensure their satisfaction with all products.
- The Director of Sales will serve as a liaison between the customer and technical support until problems are resolved.

Director of Sales (Atlanta Area) Job Requirements:
- A four-year degree in a discipline related to business from an accredited university.
- Masters of Business Administration would be beneficial.
- Minimum of seven years of sales experience as a director or manager.
- Experience working with building products would be preferred for this job.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent negotiation skills. Able to utilize active listening to understand the customer and provide them with attractive quotes and offers.
- High energy, motivated personality. Dynamic and charismatic.
- Willing to travel greater that 75% of the time outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
- Good with computers, familiar with Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office programs.
