A growing furniture manufacturer is seeking a Director of Engineering in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area.
Las Vegas Director of Engineering Job Opening
- Manage the engineering teams through design and development of furniture products.
- Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in alignment with company policies and objectives.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders including executives and marketing and product management teams.
- Implement and assess continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and contact factories and suppliers for sampling, designing, and executing product lines.
Director of Engineering (Las Vegas Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
- At least 10 years of engineering experience for products or technology-led companies.
- At least 5 years of previous managerial experience, including leading engineering managers.
- Professional Engineering and Project Management certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
