A well known distribution company is seeking a Logistics Manager in the greater Virginia Beach, Virginia area. 

Virginia Beach Logistics Manager Job Opening 

• Rapidly growing organization currently generating $400M in revenue.  
• Distribution center with 200,000 square feet.  
• Effectively resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs brokerage as soon as they arise.  
• Monitor orders from pickup to delivery while following up with suppliers to ensure accuracy across all purchase orders.  
• Negotiate rate agreements for freight forwarding and related programs. 

Plant Manager (Chicago area) Job Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related area.
• 5 years third party logistics and Logistics Manager experience.  
• Demonstrated experience maintaining successful relations with freight forwarders.   
• Demonstrated experience importing and negotiating with international suppliers.  
• Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment.
