The Tucson Program Manager will work across several projects to ensure that the organization is working toward the overall strategy as effectively as possible. The Tucson Program Manager shall understand how each project relates to any other and are able to convey the strategy and purpose to each part. - The Tucson Program Manager set clearly defined targets and time lines for assigned programs.
- Drive program efforts in order to meet schedule, cost, and product performance goals.
- Recognize technical and market risks to the program; develop contingency plans to ensure that the program moves on effectively if issues arise.
- The Tucson Program Manager will interface with leaders to ensure all objectives are understood and on schedule to be met.
- Provide program status reports plainly and honestly. In reports, base updates upon facts and evidence.
- Develop and maintain a critical path schedule, a budget, communication tools, and risk plans.

Program Manager (Tucson Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline.
- Possession of a graduate degree would be preferable for this position.
- At least five years of program management experience in an industrial setting.
- Previous experience with programs that involve research, engineering, manufacturing, and marketing.
- Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent negotiation and influence skills.
- Able to lead an aligned staff of personnel across projects with a shared vision.
- Excellent analysis skills, able to keep objective judgment.
- Proven ability to re-establish focus if a project or program slips from the schedule.
- A proven history of successful new product development projects.
- An enthusiastic personality, high level of energy, and a eagerness to be challenged and grow.
- Spanish language skills would be preferable.
