The appointed individual will assess, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes, facilitating the introduction of new products and processes. They will oversee the full lifecycle of a product’s manufacturing process, ranging from design and construction to packaging and quality assurance.
Manufacturing Process Engineer Essential Duties:
- Evaluate, enhance, and devise manufacturing procedures.
- Support the creation of novel products, operational methods, and other manufacturing requirements.
- Frame and execute plans for all manufacturing procedures.
- Introduce and monitor quality control processes and cost-saving measures.
- Design, test, and refine process upgrades and new process systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Address and redesign malfunctioning equipment.
- Draft standardized operating instructions for upgraded processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to evaluate current processes.
- Supply the Production Manager with process documentation and standardized operating procedures.
- Mentor, train, and oversee new team members on prevailing manufacturing and workflow methods.
- Recognize, validate, and present Value Drivers.
Manufacturing Process Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft suite.
- Familiarity with CAD and CAM software is beneficial.
- Previous experience with process simulations and standardized operating procedures.
- Advanced technical acumen.
- Proven ability to manage projects and showcase effective management competencies.
