For this Phoenix, Arizona job opening, the Plant Manager will be responsible for a staff of twenty-five salaried employees and over three-hundred hourly employees working out of a one-hundred-thirty-five-thousand square foot facility in operation for only six months. With its very high level of responsibility over P&L, this job will focus on managing manpower to maximize efficiency and the overall growth margin of the Phoenix facility. This job requires attention to detail and efficiency as the Phoenix facility manufactures highly customizable HVAC equipment with great precision at a low volume. Knowledge of ERP systems will be imperative for the Phoenix Plant Manager.

Phoenix Plant Manager Job Opening

  • The Plant Manager will be responsible for the efficiency of all staff members, both salaried and hourly, and the growth of a new manufacturing operation in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • This job will be responsible for the management of P&L for the entire Phoenix operation.
  • Planning, evaluating and controlling the manufacturing operations will be the responsibility of the Plant Manager in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • This job will improve upon an in house ERP system through working experience with larger ERP systems. 
Plant Manager (Phoenix Area) Job Requirements:
  • This job requires a four-year degree from an accredited degree granting institution or comparable work experience.
  • This job requires prior experience in a low volume, custom equipment manufacturing facility.
  • The Plant Manager must have at least five years of experience managing a manufacturing facility.
  • The Plant Manager must have lean manufacturing experience.
  • A six-sigma green belt or black belt is preferred for this job.
  • Must be able to liaise with and impart coherent directions to employees of all levels through verbal or written discourse.
