Philadelphia Claims Manager Overview:
For this job, the Claims Manager will head up the claims and processing operations at the company’s greater Philadelphia location. He or she will have to come up with ways to continuously improve and expedite the ways in which the company processes claims. Additionally, he or she will be conducting holistic analyses based on financial and quality performance metrics. The Claims Manager will not have any reports for this job, but he or she will be training, coaching, and mentoring the operations and claims staff. The Claims Manager will report to the Operations Manager at the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location.
Philadelphia Claims Manager Job Opening:
- The Claims Manager will strategize training and developmental meetings for Claims Managers at the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania site.
- This job will operate as an escalation point for cases that the claims and processing team is not capable of managing.
- The Claims Manager must identify opportunities for cost savings.
- This role will additionally attend client and internal meetings to improve relationships and day-to-day operations.
- There is little to no travel outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania required for this job.
Claims Manager (Philadelphia Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a human resources or business-related field is a big plus for this job.
- At least 4 years of experience in claims processing is required.
- Experience with training processes and continuous improvement is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office is a plus for this job.
- Ability to manage and hit multiple key performance metrics.
