Paterson Production Supervisor Overview:

The Production Supervisor will need to keep manufacturing job production on schedule. Additionally, he or she would need to support continuous improvement operations for all of the Production Technicians on the team. The Production Supervisor will oversee various manufacturing operations on the production floor in the Paterson plant. The Production Supervisor will also support budgeting operations and will need to assist in lean manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor will need to communicate with various departments such as human resources, sales, and operations, in order to optimize production in Paterson. The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Production Manager and will be a part of the Production floor for various jobs.

• The Production Supervisor must come up with a production schedule depending on the job and the needs of various clients.
• For this job, the role will upkeep and maintain schedules on a weekly basis.
• The position will utilize human resources when needed.
• The Production Supervisor will help determine material requirements as noted by the job.
• The role will need to manage human resources and material requirements in order to complete the different jobs.
• The position will make decisions involving the maintenance, usage, and selection of equipment on the plant floor.
• The Production Supervisor will need to institute corrective and preventative actions when it comes to obstacles and issues in production.
• The role will assist in finding ways to improve the production process.

Production Supervisor (Paterson Area) Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years of supervisory experience on a plant floor.
• Knowledge of raw materials.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Ability to solve problems and think quickly.
