The New York City Senior Project Manager will manage various projects on a day-to-day basis. He or she will need to be in constant communication with different clients in order to not only ensure the success of projects, but deliver outstanding customer service to the client. Also, for this job, the Senior Project Manager for New York City will oversee the strategic, design, and development aspects of different projects. He or she will be providing strategic leadership and continuous improvement principles to subordinate team members. In this job, the New York City Senior Project Manager will report to the company’s Director of Projects and will have various team members reporting to him or her.

- The Senior Project Manager must lead and over see a grouping of projects from start to finish, enforcing their production, direction, and effectiveness.
- For this job, must work with various software teams in order to bring ideas of projects from concept to completion.
- The position must liaison with the company’s key contacts for various accounts in order to ensure that customer specifications are met and satisfaction is upheld.
- The Senior Project Manager will need to keep track of all projects by logging data and schedules in order to keep workers on task.
- The role will need to head up continuous improvement initiatives when in comes to analyzing company processes.
- The position does not require any travel.
- The Senior Project Manager will take on any additional duties or projects as assigned by the Director of Projects.
Project Manager (New York Area) Job Requirements:
- A 4 year Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- At least 7 years of experience in project management.
- A PMP certification is a plus.
- A wealth of software experience.
