  • Responsible for the complex maintenance of all mechanical equipment, plant utilities, and production systems inside the Nashville facilities.

  • All members of the maintenance department are required to wear necessary personal protective equipment while on the production floor in the Nashville facilities.

  • Job candidates must have a Bachelors degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing or related engineering field.
  • Must have at least 8 years experience in machine maintenance.

  • Maintenance Managers must have experience working with single and three phase electrical power.

  • The Nashville Maintenance Supervisor will perform maintenance and all necessary repairs on production equipment within the assigned area for the facility.
  • Develop plans and schedules for all maintenance, including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment installations, and work order requests.
  • The Nashville Maintenance supervisor will ensure that all maintenance actions are in line with quality standards as well as safety and cost objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with section manager in order to understand facility and company priority and objectives.
  • Participate in and lead in safety and new process trainings within the assigned area.
  • The Nashville Maintenance supervisor will prepare reports on equipment failures, documenting all preventative maintenance taken.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and develop suggested improvements.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.
Maintenance Supervisor (Nashville Area) Job Requirements:
  • A four year degree from an accredited university as well as three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or, alternatively, a high school diploma with a minimum of five years of manufacturing job experience.
  • At least five years of experience as a maintenance professional in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least three years of maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule.
  • Familiar with preventative maintenance principles.
  • Willing and able to travel, domestically and internationally.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is beneficial for this position.
  • Proven ability to develop maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Understanding of quality standards and principles.
