Lafayette Electronics Technician Overview:

The Electronics Technician will largely be responsible for the maintenance of the electronics and the equipment at the metro Lafayette, Indiana area. Additionally, the Electronics Technician will collaborate with a group of engineers in order to provide support for current and prototype projects for various job orders. The Electronics Technician will not be managing anyone directly, will be a part of the maintenance and engineering departments, and will be reporting directly to the location’s Engineering Supervisor. 

Lafayette Electronics Technician Job Opening

• The Electronics Technician will work at a work bench at the Lafayette location in order to conduct corrective and preventative maintenance on technology and parts for various electronics that the company products.
• This role will also utilize a computer for recording data and keeping track of work orders.
• The position will do prototyping, debugging, and troubleshooting of various products for certain job orders.
• This job will conduct tests on various products.
• This job will involve writing lab reports based on data garnered from tests conducted on company products.
• There is little to no travel outside of Lafayette, Indiana required for this job.
• The Electronics Technician will complete any others jobs as given by the Engineering Supervisor.

Electronics Technician (Lafayette Area) Job Requirements:

• A minimum of an associate’s degree is required for this job.
• At least 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance or product design.
• Experience with solidworks or AutoCAD is required for this job.
• Strong organization skills are essential for this job.
