Helena CNC Machinist Overview:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for utilizing mills and lathes to precision cut material that enters the machine. This role will also support maintenance technicians and operators when they come and diagnose and troubleshoot any issues with the machinery. This role will have to collaborate with other CNC Machinists to meet production schedules and manufacture products that customers have certain specifications for. This position will also contribute to the tidiness and organization of the Helena plant floor. For this job, the CNC Machinist will report to the plant’s Production Supervisor.

• The CNC Machinist must us the machines to precision cut several commodities over a shift at the greater Helena plant, focusing on customer specifications that have been set before him or her.
• Additionally, this role must adhere to all safety guidelines while on the job.
• The CNC Machinist will help maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• This role will have to meet daily and monthly production benchmarks in order to sustain operational efficiency.
• The CNC Machinist will also assist with the installation and repair of machines, collaborating with maintenance crews.
• The CNC Machinist will also help onboard and train new CNC Machinists while getting more tenure with the company. 

CNC Machinist (Helena Area) Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmental while operating CNC machines.
• Experience with CNC programming and installation is a plus for this job.
