Detroit Six Sigma Master Black Belt Job Opening

• Create and deliver all Six Sigma training classes and consulting services, including Green Belt and Black Belt training courses while working out of the Detroit, Michigan location.
• The Six Sigma Master Black Belt must improve the rate of “trained to certified” clients.
• The Six Sigma Master Black Belt will serve as the sole LSS subject matter expert.
• Develop the course curriculum and guide clients through the certification process.
• The Six Sigma Master Black Belt must provide clients with mentoring and coaching.
• The Six Sigma Master Black Belt will visit clients on site to implement projects and solutions.
• The Six Sigma Master Black Belt must assist in marketing services to potential clients.

Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:

• Possess Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification from a recognized organization.
• Verification of completed Six Sigma Projects.
• A great deal of job experience working with Mini-Tab software.
• Great computer skills and experience with Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Visio.
• At least a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven job history of leading Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional grasp of statistical quality practices such as: measuring system analysis, capability analysis, experiment design, hypothesis testing, etc.
• Understanding of how to provide instruction on subject matter and teach students.
• Ability to develop a curriculum and classroom materials.
• Ability to apply Six Sigma in an office setting.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with benchmarks and deadlines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience marketing and selling technical services is beneficial.
• Able to work alone with little supervision while on the job.
