Dallas Director of Manufacturing Overview:

For this job, the client company is currently seeking its next Dallas Director of Manufacturing to oversee the manufacturing operations of three plants spread throughout the United States. This job is a senior management position that has several direct reports, such as Plant Managers and Operations Managers. One important aspect of the job is communicating with the Chief Executive Officer, who the Director of Manufacturing will report directly to. In addition to providing strategic leadership and change management techniques, the Dallas Director of Manufacturing will need to enhance the company’s manufacturing employees and operations.

• For this job, the Dallas Director of Manufacturing will need to put an emphasis on team building and retaining employees.
• In addition, the role has a heavy responsibility in ensuring that all three plants operate with safety as the key focus.
• The position must be accountable for equipment quality and maintenance, as well cleanliness of the various manufacturing sites.
• The Director of Manufacturing should seek out flaws and areas of improvement in the plants’ production methods.
• The position requires moderate travel.
• The role will take on additional duties as assigned by the CEO. 

Director of Manufacturing (Dallas Area) Job Requirements:

• At least fifteen years of production experience is required for this job.
• A minimum of five years of plant management experience is required.
• Experience traveling and managing multi-site operations.
• An undergraduate degree, ideally in manufacturing.
